100 km endurance horse race begins in Salalah

Salalah: The competitions of the 100 km endurance race and the 40 km qualifying race were launched in Khor Al Dahariz beach in the Wilayat of Salalah.

The race was sponsored by His Highness Sayyid Saud bin Harib Al Said as part of the equestrian activities in the Dhofar fall season 2023, which are organized by the Oman Equestrian Federation in cooperation with the Dhofar Equestrian Committee, the Dhofar Governor’s Office, and the Dhofar Municipality represented by the Festival Department. 26 horses participated in the race, where the first place was crowned by the horse (Marquis Ruel), and the horse (Khalid bin Saeed Al Balushi) on her horse, and the horse (HM Luntaco) came in the second place, and the horse (Al Muntasir bin Hassan Al Balushi) on her horse came in the third place, and the horse (Nebras Sur) came in the third place Her horse was the knight Nebras bin Saeed Al Balushi.

It is noteworthy that the equestrian activities in the season will continue until the first of next August, and will include the establishment of the peg picking tournament in the plain of Attin.
