11th GCC Productivity Conference concludes in Salalah

Salalah: The 11th GCC Conference for Developing the Productivity of Human Resources in Salalah recommended that mergers and restructuring operations take place in a strategic manner that underscores legal aspects, human resources, commercial and national goals of Oman Vision 2040.

This was stressed in a statement issued at the conclusion of the two-day conference, organized by the Ministry of Labour in cooperation with Al Asayel Conferences Company in Salalah.

The conference was titled “Integration and harmony at work as factors for increasing productivity”. The conference also recommended developing a well-studied and elaborate model as a yardstick for restructuring of establishments and consolidation of functional harmony.

It also laid emphasis on vertical and horizontal communication with all employees of any organization in three stages: before, during and after restructuring. It stressed that restructuring tasks should be delegated to specialists in the field.

The 11th GCC Productivity Conference focused on 7 key pillars: human resources, society, the economy, development, performance, institutional governance, environment and sustainability.
