14th Arabization Conference Kicks off in Muscat

14th Arabization Conference Enhances Scientific Terminology Industry

Muscat: The 14th Arabization Conference was held today in Muscat under the title “Employing Scientific and Technical Terminology in Their Specialized Spaces”.

The conference aims at enhancing the industry and dissemination of unified terminology and dictionaries, which contributes to supporting the Arabic language to keep pace with modern scientific and technical developments.

The opening ceremony of the two-day event was held under the patronage of Sayyid Said Sultan Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Culture.

The conference is organized by the GCC Centre for Translation, Arabization and the Promotion of Arabic and the Arabization Coordination Office of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO).
