    Muscat: The Ministry of Labor, represented by the Directorate General of Labor Welfare (the joint inspection team), carried out inspection campaigns in the Governorate of Muscat during the period from 6/18/2023 to 6/24/2023 with the aim of following up on the non-Omani workforce and their compliance with the provisions of the Labor Law.

    Accordingly,  152 workers arrested who violated the provisions of the Labor Law, including (89) workers who left work, and work is underway to take legal measures against them. Also, 184 workers were deported during the same period.
