    • 18 injured in cooking gas explosion at restaurant in Muscat

    Muscat: Eighteen people were injured in a cooking gas explosion in a restaurant in southern Mabela area in the Wilayat of Seeb on Sunday, according to the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority

    In a statement CDAA said: “Further to the previous report, the authority’s teams in the Governorate of Muscat dealt with the accident, as neighboring buildings and a number of vehicles were affected. The accident also resulted in the injury of (18) people, whose injuries ranged from light to moderate.

    Preliminary information indicates a momentary explosion of cooking gas.”
