180 French companies meet Omani tourism companies in Paris

Paris: Within the mobile promotional workshops in which the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism participates from 17 to 19 May 2022 in France and Italy, a workshop was held yesterday in the French capital, Paris, in the presence of the delegation of the Ministry and His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Ghazi bin Said Al Bahr Al Rawas, the Omani ambassador accredited to the Republic of France The workshop also witnessed the presence of 180 French companies to meet with Omani companies and hold meetings with French investors. It should be noted that the number of French tourists coming to the Sultanate of Oman in 2019 amounted to about 70,000, as France occupies an important position as the first leading foreign market in Europe, and in 2022, tourism agencies in France organized 240 tourist trips to the Sultanate of Oman.

The workshop began with a lecture introducing Omani companies in the French market presented by the Director of the Omani Tourism Representation Office in France, Rania Khader. Then, the Director General of Tourism Promotion in the Ministry, Haitham bin Muhammad Al Ghassani, gave a speech to the participating local companies, in which he pointed out the importance of such events to promote tourism products. provided by travel and tourism companies to introduce the Sultanate of Oman.
