Two students of The University of Technology and Applied Science lost their lives in an accident on Tuesday, barely days after three other students died in another accident last Thursday.
The University mourned the loss of life in a statement on Tuesday, “The University mourns two of our students, Al Hawari Bin Ali Bin Nasser Al Shaibani and Al Munir bin Hilal bin Abdullah Al Shaibani who were from the university branch in Nizwa and who passed away as a result of an accident.”
“We ask God Almighty to bless them with the vastness of his mercy and to inspire their families and provide them patience and solace,” the University added.
Last Thursday, a bus derailment off the Al Batinah highway claimed the lives of 3 students and 7 other people were injured seriously.
