Riyadh: 21 Omani start-up companies presented their projects to a group of venture capital funds, Saudi investors and crowdfunding platforms today in Riyadh, with the aim of concluding investment deals between the two parties and enhancing the competitiveness and growth of these companies, with the hosting of the Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monshaat”. And the participation of the Omani-Saudi Business Council, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, and the Omani Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority.

The event enhances Saudi investment opportunities in Omani startups, and facilitates the access of these companies to investors in various fields, in addition to promoting the growth of startups based on innovation and technology.

The owners of the startups made a brief presentation to the investors about the project and the business plan, with the aim of obtaining investment and persuading investors to finance their startups, which may contribute to the expansion of the commercial activity of these enterprises in other markets.
