27000 visitors to frankincense season in Dhofar

Salalah: Visitors to the frankincense season activities organized by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in Dhofar Governorate at the frankincense land sites in the “Al Baleed” and “Sumharam” archaeological parks, and the Wadi Dawka Natural Reserve, reached about 27,000v of various ages and nationalities.

Al-Abri explained that the frankincense season witnesses a large attendance of visitors every year to all the sites where events are held.

It is noteworthy that the activities of the frankincense season included planting 500 frankincense trees in the Wadi Dawka Natural Reserve in the state of Thumrait.
