29 Public Prosecutors Take Oath Before Deputy Chairman of Supreme Judicial Council

Muscat: Twenty-nine second public prosecutors (Integrity Batch) took the legal oath today before His Excellency Sayyid Muhammad bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Vice President of the Supreme Judicial Council, and in the presence of His Excellency Nasr bin Khamis Al Sawa’i, Public Prosecutor, in the Supreme Judicial Council.

Taking the legal oath comes in implementation of what is stipulated in Article (11) of the Public Prosecution Law issued by Royal Decree No. (92/99), which is necessary to undertake judicial work, join the public prosecution service, assume the secretariat of the public prosecution, and apply the laws with complete impartiality and justice.

His Excellency Sayyed Muhammad bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Vice President of the Supreme Judicial Council, congratulated the graduates of the batch on their selection as members of the judiciary, and urged them to exert effort and devote time to serving justice, to fully adhere to the judicial instructions regulating the workflow in the public prosecution, and to reflect in their professional and personal behavior the virtues of the mission.
