    • 300 participants in the traditional horse and camel event in Ibra

    Ibra: A traditional horse and camel event was held this evening in the Wilayat of Ibra in the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, with the participation of horse and camel sports enthusiasts from various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health.

    The event was held at Zad Al Rakeb Square for the sport of horse and camel ardha, included presenting the skills of ardha running for horses and camels, with the participation of more than 300 horses and camels.

    The riders showcased their skills through speed and control of horses and camels in an aesthetic painting that reinforces the importance of this traditional sport among the people of the community, in addition to displaying the skills of picking up pegs, putting horses to sleep, presenting the arts of Humble and Tahurib for horses and camels, and the skills of the young riders from the Wilayat of Ibra.
