    • 39 expats arrested for violating labour laws in Muscat

    Muscat: 39 expats workers were arrested in violating labour laws in Muscat after Ministry of Labour in cooperation with Royal Oman Police carries out inspection campaign on private homes.

    In a statement Ministry of Labour said: “The Ministry of Labor, represented by the General Directorate of Labor Welfare joint inspection team, and in cooperation with RoyalOmanPolice. An inspection campaign in the Muscat Governorate for private homes in which unlicensed and immoral businesses are practiced, and 39 workers were arrested in violation of the provisions of the Labor Law, including 26 workers who left work.
