4.1 earthquake felt in Duqm, no injuries or damage: ROP

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said some citizens in Duqm have felt a slight earthquake and did not receive any reports on injuries or damage after that.

In a statement ROP said: “The Earthquake Monitoring Center at Sultan Qaboos University announced a 4.1-magnitude earthquake in Duqm, at 7:55 this morning, local time. The Royal Oman Police followed up the calls received through the Police Operations Center from some citizens that they felt a slight earthquake and did not receive any reports of injuries or damage after that.”
