Muscat — Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) teams in South Al Batinah Governorate responded to an incident involving the collapse of an abandoned building in the Wilayat of Al Rustaq.
Initial reports indicate that the structure, made of unstable materials, collapsed in the Al-Haymali area, resulting in the death of four children and the injury of three others, who were transferred to hospital in critical condition with burns.
Authorities stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of the incident.
