400 Ramadan parcels ‘Made in Oman’ for each wilayat: OCCI

The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) launches the “Ramadan Parcels” campaign to distribute supplies to 10,000 families during Ramadan.

The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, through the Omani Product Promotion Committee “OPEX”, launched the fifth edition of the “Made in Oman” campaign “Ramadan Parcels”, headed by His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber.

The campaign aims to provide parcels containing a variety of Omani products, in order to empower Omani products and promote their quality among the segments of society to become the preferred choice locally, in addition to increasing consumer awareness and culture of national products. The campaign played an effective role in serving the community and helping indigent families, embodying the spirit of social solidarity among the people of society.

Through the campaign, the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry aims to distribute Ramadan parcels to 10,000 families during the holy month from its ten branches in various parts of the Sultanate of Oman, in coordination with charitable teams in each governorate until they are delivered to insolvent families.

Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, the Chamber’s branch in Al Wusta Governorate distributed approximately 400 Ramadan parcels for each wilaya containing 100 Omani products, in coordination with the governors’ offices in the governorate and charitable teams.
