    Muscat Municipality destroys 44 kgs of unfit food

    Muscat: Muscat Municipality carries out and inspection visit on restaurants and cafes in Qurayyat to ensure that they adhere to necessary health requirements for preparing foodstuff.

    As a result, Muscat municipality issued 17 health violations and destroyed 44 kgs of unfit food for consumption.

    In a statement Muscat Municipality said: “The Muscat Municipality in the Wilayat of Qurayyat, represented by the Health Control Department, carried out inspection visits to restaurants and cafes, which resulted in issuing (17) health violations and destroying (44) kilograms of food materials unfit for consumption.

    Legal Measures were taken regarding them, and the visits come within the framework of the tasks of maintaining food safety and public health.”
