47 Quran Memorizers Honored in A’Dakhiliyah governorate

Nizwa: The Department of Endowments and Religious Affairs in the Governorate of A’Dakhiliyah held a ceremony to honor 47 memorizers of the Holy Qur’an for the year 1444 AH.

The celebration, which was held at the Nizwa Cultural Center under the auspices of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Saeed Al Maamari, Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, included a number of programs, including the opening of an achievement exhibition (Rakia and Intekaz), a visual show and a singing operetta.

The number of memorizers of the Noble Qur’an reached 47, including 14 female teachers, and the number of memorizers among female students reached 23, while the number of female memorizers among young people reached 10, under the supervision of female teachers, who numbered 118 female teachers. And religious affairs reached 113 schools, and the number of students attending them reached 7131 students.

At the end of the ceremony, the sponsor of the occasion honored the memorizers of the Holy Quran.
