4th Cinemana International Film Festival in Musandam concludes

Khasab: The activities of the Fourth International Cinemana Festival, organized by the Ahli Sidab Club in cooperation with the Office of the Governor of Musandam, concluded for 5 days in the governorates of Muscat and Musandam at the stage of the Omani Women’s Association in Khasab this evening.

His Excellency Sayyid Ibrahim bin Saeed Al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam, sponsored the closing ceremony.

Dr. Khalid bin Abdul Rahim Al-Zadjali, Vice President of the General Union of Arab Artists in the Sultanate of Oman and President of the Fourth Cinemana Festival, said in his speech: More than 121 films from 17 countries participated in this year’s festival, between short and long films, expressing his hope that the number of participants in the session would increase.

Manea bin Abdullah Al Shehhi, Director of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Department in Musandam Governorate, said that the festival included an exhibition for productive families, small and medium enterprises and craftsmen, with the aim of highlighting the products and crafts that the province is famous for.

The festival concluded by crowning the winning films in the festival’s competitions, in addition to honoring a group of pioneers in cinematic work at the local and Arab levels.
