    • 4th International Quality and Value Engineering Conference Begins

    Muscat: Deliberations of the 4th International Conference on Quality and Value Engineering began here today under the patronage of Sayyid Saud Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat.

    The 2-day event themed “Value Engineering in the Age of Uncertainty” is organized by the Secretariat General of the Tender Board, in conjunction with the Ministry of Labour and some private sector’s institutions.

    The event aims at disseminating awareness on the importance of value engineering, as well as improving quality and raising efficiency through the use of latest methods in value engineering.

    It also seeks to consolidate the role of value engineering in creativity and innovation, and reviewing local, regional and international experiences in this field.

    A number of speakers, engineers, experts and specialists in the field of value engineering from Oman and abroad are taking part in the conference. – ONA
