4th Salalah International Islamic Finance Conference to kick off tomorrow

Salalah: The Fourth Salalah International Conference on Islamic Finance will begin tomorrow, Sunday, under the title “Governance in the Islamic Finance Sector for the Achievement of Sustainable Development and Global Economic Prosperity”, and will continue for two days.

The conference aims to highlight the importance of applying corporate governance principles in addressing contemporary and emerging issues faced by Islamic financial services institutions in order to adopt a sustainability program.

The conference includes holding 4 sessions to discuss the role of Sharia supervisory boards and boards of directors of Islamic financial institutions in applying the principles of governance, achieving sustainability in endowment and non-profit institutions, applying governance in Islamic financial institutions and its impact on achieving sustainable development, and the governance of the Takaful insurance sector: challenges and solutions.

The conference is an opportunity to meet with experiences and knowledge through exchanging ideas, research and studies in the field of Islamic finance with specialists from different countries of the world, in addition to building new relationships with those interested, researchers and workers in the sector.
