5.2 Magnitude earthquake hits Pakistan’s Balochistan, 861 km away from Sur

Muscat: Magnitude 5.2 earthquake was monitored in Pakistan’s Balochistan, on Monday, the Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC) at the Sultan Qaboos University said.

“An earthquake in Pakistan’s Balochistan, with a magnitude of 5.2 at 4.19 pm MCT on 4 December 2023, and at a depth of 20 km has been recorded.

The earthquake was recorded 861 km NE, away from Sur,” EMC said in a statement.
