    • 50 horses participate in a race in Oman’s Al-Qabil

    Al-Qabil: The Wilayat of Al-Qabil in the Governorate of North Al-Sharqiyah, organizes horse-riding race with the participation of 50 horses from the wilayats of the North and South Al-Sharqiyah governorates, as part of the activities of the horse sports committees in the states of the Sultanate of Oman.

    The event, which was held in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Yaqoub bin Muhammad Al Harthy, Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, included a horse show run, presentation of Humble arts, horse transformation, knights’ skills on horseback, horse hypnotizing skills and various arts.

    The horse-riding race comes with the aim of reviving the traditional heritage in holding traditional events and activities that express the keenness of the authentic Omani society to preserve the popular heritage that characterizes the Sultanate of Oman.
