    500kg of kingfish caught out of season in Duqm

    Muscat: 500kg of kingfish were caught out of season seized by a fish control team on the coast of Hitam in the Wilayat of Duqm.

    The fish control team of the General Directorate of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources in Al Wusta Governorate seized on Sunday morning, on the coast of Hitam in the Wilayat of Duqm, a truck transporting and marketing live aquatic wealth, containing (500) kilograms of kingfish, which was caught during the ban period. The seized quantity was confiscated.
