Muscat: Fifty-two expats arrested for violating the labour law during a campaign carried out by the Ministry of Labour in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.
In a statement Ministry of Labour said: “The Ministry of Labor, represented by the Office of the Joint Inspection Team at the General Directorate of Labor in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, carried out an inspection campaign in the Wilayat of Al-Hamra and the Wilayat of Bahla during the period 3-4 June, and 52 workers were arrested in violation of the provisions of the Labor Law, and legal measures are being taken against them.”
