    The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs announced that the sighting of the crescent of the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal for the year 1445 AH has not been confirmed. This evening, Friday, the twenty-ninth of Safar 1445 AH, corresponding to September 15, 2023 .

    Therefore, today Saturday will be the that completes the month of Safar, with the beginning of the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal of the year 1445 AH being Sunday, corresponding to September 16, 2023.

    Based on the above, the Prophet’s birthday holiday will be on Thursday, Rabi’ al-Awwal 12, 1445 AH, corresponding to September 28, 2023, in accordance with Royal Decree No. 2022/88.
