Muscat: The Preliminary Qualifiers Committee for the Sultan Qaboos Holy Quran Competition in its thirtieth session continues today its work in the Governorate of Muscat, with the participation of 627 competitors from Al-Khoud, Al-Khuwair and Al-Amerat centers and will continue until November 3, at the Institute of Islamic Sciences in Muscat.
The competition is organized by the Sultan Qaboos Higher Center for Culture and Science at the Diwan of the Royal Court in 25 centers distributed in various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
The competition, which includes 7 different levels, aims to urge Omanis to memorize and recite the Holy Qur’an, follow its method, and raise a Quranic generation bearing the Book of God Almighty, as well as enhancing the Sultanate of Oman’s presence in international Quranic competitions.
