6th Al Bashayer Arabian Camel Racing Festival Concludes

Adam: Camel Al A’asimah for Al Bashayer Camel Corps secured the main round (Al Bashayer Gold Sword) and the first place in the 6th Edition of Al Bashayer Annual Camel Racing Festival, concluded on Sunday at Al Bashayer Camel Racing Ground in the Wilayat of Adam, Al Dakhilyah Governorate.

The event was held under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan.

The six-day festival was organised by the Department of Al Bashayer Arabian thorough- bred Camel Racing Ground saw the participation of owners and camel-breeders from the various overrates of the Sultanate.

At the conclusion of the festival, Sayyid Asaad gave away prizes to the winners of the top places.

The festival was attended by a number of camel owners, breeders, ministers, undersecretaries sheikhs and dignitaries and those interested in the sport from within and outside the Sultanate.
