Ibri: The completion rate in the infrastructure project for the first phase of the Ibri Industrial City in the Wilayat of Ibri in Al Dhahirah Governorate has reached 90 percent, with a total area estimated at 10 million square metres.

Salah bin Nasser Al-Alawi, Director General of Ibri Industrial City, said: The infrastructure project in Ibri Industrial City aims to develop about 3 million square meters of the industrial city, and includes preparing the city’s infrastructure such as road works and the service network such as water, sewage, rainwater drainage networks, and communications networks. , and surveillance systems. \

He pointed out that the current investment volume in Ibri Industrial City amounts to one million three hundred and fifty thousand Omani riyals, and the number of projects localized in the industrial city has reached 13 projects serving various sectors, such as the oil and gas sector and its industries, the warehouses and logistics services sector, and light and medium industries of various types, in addition to manufacturing industries and materials. Construction, industrial workshops and foodstuffs.

He stated that Ibri Industrial City provides a number of services and incentives to investors in order to create an attractive and stimulating work environment for local and foreign investments, as it provides many facilities such as exemption from the rental value for a period of two years for all new projects and reducing the rental value for 3 consecutive years by 50 percent for contracts concluded during the period. From 2021 to 2024, in addition to reducing all fees listed in Appendix No. 1 of the investment regulations for investors by 50 percent for all new projects during the period 2021-2024.
