906 labour complaints received by Oman’s MOL in May 2023

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour (MOL) has stated that it received 906 labour complaints during the months of May 2023.

In a statement MOL said: “The Ministry of Labor, represented by the General Directorate of Labor Welfare (Department for Settlement of Labor Disputes), received 906 individual labor complaints submitted by workers against employers during the month of May 2023, where 203 were settled, and 257 were referred to the competent courts, and 419 were closed for assignment or non-review.”
