Muscat: His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and Information Technology for Communications and Information Technology, said during the weekly talk show “With Youth on Oman TV” that the Sultanate of Oman worked in the field of information and communication technology from a very early age, as it launched many different initiatives to develop the sector Communications and Information Technology.
His Excellency explains that the Sultanate of Oman has been able through these various programs, to achieve good achievements, and that with the adoption of Oman Vision 2040, a road map for the digital economy has been prepared.
His Excellency said that the government has launched the National Program for the Digital Economy, which is a road map compatible with the vision of Oman 2040.
