About 1.6 million visitors left Oman until end of November 2021

Muscat: The number of departing visitors from the Sultanate of Oman until the end of November 2021 was about 1.6 million, while the number of inbound visitors reached 471,000, according to the tourism indicators for the month of November 2021 issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information.

According to the monthly report issues by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) said that the total number of visitors coming to the Sultanate of Oman during the month of November 2021 was 111,000 compared to 13,000 visitors a year ago.

Most of these visitors were of the Gulf nationalities coming to the Sultanate of Oman came (43,316 visitors, or 38.8 percent, followed by the visitors from India (14.7 percent), Yemenis (5.2 percent,) and Germans (4.4 percent) during the month of November.

The data showed that revenues of hotels with rating of 3-5 stars during November 2021 increased by 113.1 percent to reach 13 million and 200 thousand Omani riyals, compared to 6 million and 100 thousand Omani riyals during the same month of 2020.
