Abraaj Energy Services holds introductory meeting on IPO in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate

Nizwa: The Abraaj Energy Services Company held an introductory meeting for the public offering of the company’s shares at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.

Saif bin Nasser Al-Tiwani, member of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and head of the Chamber’s branch in Al-Dakhiliyah Governorate, said: “The subscription in the shares of Abraaj Energy Services Company represents a quantum leap in investment in the Sultanate of Oman,” noting that Abraaj is one of the leading and large companies operating in the oil and gas sector. It has high profitability, which is an attractive factor for investors from inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman.

He added that directing savings to this type of investment works to maximize the return of these savings on the one hand, and also achieves more sustainable growth for the Muscat Stock Exchange, and enables local companies to move forward with their plans for growth and expansion in a way that benefits the national economy.

For his part, Eng. Saif Al-Hamhami, CEO of Abraaj Energy Services Company, said that this company is one of the leading companies operating in the oil and gas sectors, and it specializes in drilling operations for oil and gas wells and well maintenance services, as drilling services constitute 85% of revenues; This made it have the highest market share for drilling rigs in the Sultanate of Oman, by up to 30%.
