Al-Suwaiq: A march of loyalty and gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq the Great (may God protect and preserve him) was held today in the Wilayat of Al-Suwaiq in the North Al Batinah Governorate, on the occasion of the anniversary of His Majesty assuming the reins of power in the country, which falls on January 11 of every year.

During the march, the people of the Wilayat of Suwaiq expressed their sincerest feelings of loyalty to His Majesty the Sultan, may God preserve him, renewing their loyalty and gratitude to the leader of the renewed Oman Renaissance.

During the march organized by the state’s Equestrian Committee on horseback, with the participation of 40 knights, citizens chanted national poetry and expressions of thanks and gratitude, raising pictures of His Majesty, and carrying the flag of the Sultanate of Oman.

A number of officials, sheikhs, elders, and residents of the Wilayat of Suwaiq participated in the march, which started from the Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Al Suwaiq to the historic Al Suwaiq Fort.
