Afghanistan Embassy reopens in Oman

Muscat: A deputy spokesman for Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday 17th Sept 2024, Islamic Emirate diplomats have been posted to Oman to reopen the Afghanistan embassy

According to Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal Deputy Spokesman and Assistant Director of Public Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate oversees the ongoing operations of the Afghan Embassy in Muscat, the capital of the of Oman, managed by diplomatic personnel. It has been announced that the embassy will recommence its services for Afghanistan and Oman starting from Sunday, 3/5/1446, with services now fully operational.

The collaborative efforts between the embassy and the host nation are anticipated to positively impact and enhance the political, economic, social, and religious ties between Kabul and Muscat.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan expresses gratitude for the support and cooperation extended by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Oman in facilitating this process.
