Agreement Inked to Manage, Operate and employ the Bait Ar Rudaydah Castle

Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism signed today an agreement to manage, operate and employ the Bait Al Rudaydah Fort in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. The signing of this agreement comes within the framework of the Ministry’s efforts to employ cultural heritage and ensure its sustainability and maximize benefit by providing direct and indirect job opportunities by empowering the private sector. Small and medium enterprises, and productive families.

The agreement also works to create marketing outlets for craftsmen, enrich tourism through projects of local added value to the local community, and revitalize cultural heritage sites in line with Oman Vision 2040  and the strategic programs of the tenth development plan.

The Ministry also aims at this stage through a number of projects to develop, rehabilitate and provide various tourist destinations and experiences in various governorates that contribute to diversifying the tourism product and maximizing the benefit of cultural heritage and historical monuments as tourist destinations and destinations, and highlighting the Omani civilization and the authenticity of the Omani cultural heritage and its authentic culture.
