Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources signed an agreement with Al Khairat Company for Agricultural Services and Development to manage and operate the veterinary hospital in Al Bashaer in the Wilayat of Adam.
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Dr. Saud bin Hammoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources on the Ministry’s side, and Abdul Malik bin Hilal Al Bahri, CEO of Al Khairat Company for Agricultural Services and Development, on the company’s side.
The signing of the agreement comes in light of the directives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources to activate the role of the private sector to participate in the management of specialized projects according to investment bases and to enhance veterinary services in the Sultanate of Oman to reduce infectious and epidemic diseases.
The project area is 100,000 square meters, and it includes two veterinary clinics, a laboratory and a veterinary pharmacy containing all veterinary medicines and supplies, an operating room for small and large animals, and providing veterinary services to camel breeders and livestock in general, as the company has accumulated experience in the field of hospital management and veterinary medicine and has 10 clinics Veterinary and veterinary center in Dhofar Governorate.
Two veterinary clinics will be equipped and operated for treatment and surgery services, a veterinary laboratory specialized in animal diseases, in addition to a comprehensive veterinary pharmacy for all medicines, operating rooms for large and small animals, in addition to a special section for camels.
