Airports Council International Committees Meetings Held in Oman

Muscat: The first meetings of the Airports Council International (ACI) Board of Directors’ committees began here today.

The meetings are held in preparation for the 65th meeting of the ACI Board of Directors, which will be held Sunday.

The meetings, held under the chairmanship of Sheikh Aimen Ahmed Al Hosni, CEO of Oman Airports, Chairman of the ACI Board of Directors for the current term, aimed to enhance cooperation between airports and international aviation organizations.

Sheikh Al Hosni said that these meetings are held for the first time in the Sultanate of Oman as they form the basis for the board’s action roadmap.

On his turn, Luis Felipe de Oliveira, ACI Director General said that the airports of Oman have achieved great advancement over the last period as they opened while following a risk management approach that ensures the safety of passengers.
