Muscat: The camel ‘Al Asima’ which belongs to Al Bashayer Camel Corps, has been crowned the winner of His Majesty the Sultan’s Cup for the category of Al Hawal Camels.
Al Asima merited the prize at the closing rounds of competitions marking the 19th annual “Festival of Privately-Owned Camel Races”, which were organized by the Royal Court Affairs-represented by the Royal Camel Corps.
The event was held at Al Fuleji Camel Corps’ racetrack here under the auspices of Sheikh Salim Mustahail Al Maashani, Adviser at the Diwan of Royal Court, who presented trophies to the top winners.
