Al Batinah South Governorate gears up to receive visitors during the summer

Rustaq: The Department of Heritage and Tourism in the Governorate of South Al Batinah, in cooperation with the concerned authorities in tourism from the public and private sectors in the governorate, is preparing to receive its visitors from inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman during the summer season, as the governorate is one of the tourist destinations that includes natural, tourist and cultural attractions.

The opening of a number of hotel projects and green lodges in the governorate constitutes a tourist attraction factor that has helped during the recent period in attracting many tourists, as well as the opening of a number of castles and forts after restoration and modernization in them.

Dr. Al-Mutasem bin Nasser Al-Hilali, Director of the Heritage and Tourism Department in the Governorate of South Al-Batinah, said: “The department continuously monitors the quality of services provided by tourist facilities to its guests and visitors throughout the year, and takes everything that would raise the quality and sustainability of the service provided in these facilities, and in support of the efforts that would Increasing the tourism movement in the governorate through organizing promotional activities for tourist destinations in the governorate’s wilayats, including the tourist attractions that are distinguished by mild weather during the summer period.
