Al Buraimi Municipal Council discuss progress on development projects

Al-Buraimi: The Municipal Council of Al-Buraimi Governorate discussed in its tenth meeting of the 2023, the proposal to establish a heritage village in the Wilayat of Al-Buraimi and the development events and activities associated with it.

During the meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Jabri, Vice President of the Council, the Council emphasized the role of Council members in participating in various seminars to enable them to serve the community in accordance with the aspirations of the next stage.

The Council discussed a number of recommendations, including issuing a tender to the private sector, developing a general vision for the heritage village, and coordinating with the Department of Heritage and Tourism in Buraimi Governorate to present suitable sites for its establishment.

The members recommended the importance of addressing the relevant authorities to take the necessary measures to establish the heritage village during the year 2024, with the aim of reviving and developing the tourism and heritage sector in the governorate.
