Al Buraimi Municipal Council holds its third meeting

Al Buraimi: The Municipal Council in Al Buraimi Governorate, in its third meeting this year, discussed a mechanism for finding a clear methodology for work coupled with a timetable that guarantees continuity of work and the embodiment of partnership between various institutions, and the involvement of the council in following up on work developments related to its competencies.

During the meeting, the Directorate General of Agricultural Wealth and Water Resources in Al Buraimi Governorate reviewed the strategic plan of the directorate, combating diseases associated with palm trees, expanding the cultivation of some agricultural varieties such as wheat, onions and potatoes, continuing the extension programs in addition to continuing work on the project to develop the agricultural systems of Al Buraimi and Sa’ra falaj, and support Aquaculture projects.

The Operations Department of Al Buraimi Industrial City (Madayn) presented a visual presentation that touched on projects related to a number of aspects. The most important of which is the infrastructure development project, and the endeavor to develop new industrial zones, in addition to its strategic plan for the year 2023.

The Directorate General of Housing and Urban Planning in the governorate stressed the quest to allocate a site for a model city in the Wilayat of Al Buraimi, compatible with the humanization of cities, pointing to the importance of implementing such projects that would enhance environmental sustainability.
