Al Buraimi winter activities begin in Wilayat of Madha

Madha: The Buraimi winter events, organized by the Buraimi Governor’s Office in cooperation with the branch of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the governorate, began today in the Wilayat of Mahdha and will continue until the 11th of this month in Al-Kahf Park.

Salem bin Namshan Al Kaabi, Director of the Events and Awareness Department at the Buraimi Governor’s Office, said that the event comes as a continuation of the Buraimi Winter event that was recently launched in the state of Buraimi, explaining that it includes a group of recreational and cultural activities and events, daily performances, theater events, and a number of corners for restaurants, productive families, and institutions. Small and medium-sized competitions and other accompanying activities, over five days in Al-Kahf Park in the state of Mahdha.

Al Kaabi pointed out that the Buraimi winter event in the Wilayat of Mahdha comes within a group of activities that the Buraimi Governor’s Office intends to implement during the year 2024 to include the three states of the governorate.

He stressed that the aim of organizing these events is to strengthen the economic and tourism sectors, support small and medium enterprises and productive families, in addition to providing an outlet for citizens, residents and visitors to the governorate by holding various recreational activities and events, and attracting tourists from inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman. He stated that the Buraimi winter event in the Wilayat of Mahdha will include many events, recreational activities and various competitions, including the activities of the Women and Children’s Village, folk arts, the village of restaurants and productive families, lighting shows, theatrical performances, daily activities on the stage prepared for this, cultural events, poetry evenings and other performances. And daily events and competitions that continue throughout the duration of the Buraimi winter event in the state of Mahdha.
