Al Buraimi Winter Festival Boosts Tourism and Local Economic Activity

Al Buraimi:  The Al Buraimi Winter Festival “Winter with Us” concluded this evening at Al Buraimi Public Park after eleven days of activities, amid a large public turnout and strong interaction from various segments of society.

The festival was organized as part of Al Buraimi Governorate’s efforts to promote tourism and enhance cultural and recreational activities. Its programme featured a wide range of recreational, cultural, and artistic events, in addition to a dedicated children’s area and theatre performances that enriched the overall visitor experience.

The festival witnessed the participation of 60 productive families and 26 small and medium enterprises, contributing to the creation of a vibrant winter atmosphere, stimulating economic activity in the governorate, and attracting large numbers of visitors from within and outside the governorate.

Festival days were marked by a notable turnout of citizens and residents, who expressed their appreciation for the diversity of activities, the quality of organization, and the integrated entertainment experience that catered to various age groups while promoting values of community gathering and social participation.

Salem bin Namshan Al Kaabi, Director of the Events and Awareness Department at Al Buraimi Governorate, affirmed that the Al Buraimi Winter Festival successfully achieved its objectives by providing an attractive recreational and cultural space for families and the community. He noted that the festival contributed to enhancing tourism and stimulating economic activity in the governorate, stressing that the high turnout and positive interaction reflected the success of the event and the quality of its programmes.

He added that Al Buraimi Governorate continues to organize high-quality events in partnership with relevant entities, aimed at highlighting tourism assets and enhancing quality of life.
