Al Dahra Educaton honours Omani winners of Ibtikar Al-Kuwait competition

Ibri: The Directorate General of Education in Al Dhahirah Governorate held today a ceremony honoring the female students participating in the “Ibtikar Al Kuwait” competition in its 21st edition at the level of Arab countries in the secondary stage category.

The research team participating in the competition consists of two students, Maria bint Hamad Al-Jabriya and Qabas bint Khamis Al-Ghafriya, under the supervision of Professor Fakhriya bint Saud Al-Balushi.

Zwaina bint Saif Al Mazroueiah, Director-General of Education in Al Dhahirah Governorate, honored the winning female students from Souda Umm Al Muminin School for Basic Education (5-12) in Al Dhahirah Governorate, who achieved first place in a research study on the effectiveness of rice water as a liquid fertilizer for the growth of Omani lemons.

The Kuwait Innovation competition seeks to prepare a generation of talented female students in the field of scientific innovations based on the concepts of science, mathematics and information technology.
