Al Dhahirah Municipal Council discusses future projects in tourism sector

Ibri: The Municipal Council in Al Dhahirah Governorate reviewed the initial designs for a number of future projects in the tourism sector and infrastructure in the governorate.

The meeting chaired by His Excellency Najeeb bin Ali Al-Rawas, Governor of Al-Dhahirah, Chairman of the Council. The meeting discussed the plan to expand the water networks in the states and villages of the governorate, after the inauguration of the water supply project from the Wilayat of Sohar to the Wilayat of Ibri in January.

Eng. Naseer bin Ali al-Siyabi, Director General of Al-Dhahirah Municipality, gave a visual presentation during the meeting that included a detailed report on the executive position of the projects of the ongoing governorate development program and the percentage of completion in it, in addition to discussing requests to transfer landfills to citizens’ homes and farms.

The meeting also discussed the annual report on food safety and quality for the year 2022, in addition to the topics mentioned in the minutes of the meetings of the permanent committees of the Council, and it came out with a number of recommendations and visions that would develop the governorate in various aspects.
