Al Jabal Al Akhdar: The number of visitors to the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate in 2023 reached about 205,992 visitors, compared to 208,423 visitors in 2022.

Statistics issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information showed that the number of Omanis who visited the state during the past year amounted to 102,241 visitors, the number of Saudi tourists reached 13,430 visitors, the number of Kuwaiti visitors reached 1,218 visitors, while the number of Emirati visitors reached 951 visitors.

The number of Bahraini visitors was 554, and the number of Qatari visitors during the past year was 729. Statistics indicated that the number of visitors from other Arab nationalities reached 6,784 visitors, while the number of visitors from foreign nationalities reached 80,085 visitors.

The Green Mountain is unique in having an exceptional climate throughout the year. This makes it one of the tourist destinations visited by visitors from inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman, which combines elements of entertainment and adventure activities such as exploration and new tourist experiences such as: heritage lodges, camping in the mountains, and walking on farm trails.

It is noteworthy that the number of existing and licensed hotel establishments with a classification of (3-5 stars) in the Green Mountain State reached 20 establishments. It consists of 9 hotels and resorts, one hotel apartment facility, two heritage lodges, and 8 guest houses, and the total number of rooms in these facilities reaches 726 rooms of various sizes.
