Al Nahdha Hospital Conducts Moral and Psychological Support Service for Staff

Muscat: The Department of Health Education and Psychological Counselling in Al Nahdha Hospital is organizing a training program on moral and Psychological support service for the hospital’s health workers.

The one-month program will be conducted by means of sessions every Thursday, commencing the first session today at Al Nahdha Hospital hall. The program is run by Nayla Al Balushi, a doctoral researcher in the field of educational psychology, an educational consultant, and a certified trainer in human development.

The training program consists of four sessions entitles consecutively Say No to Burn-out, Life and Work Balance, Worry-free Life, and Workplace Stress Management.

The program will highlight key topics including promoting awareness on the importance of mental, moral and social health among the health worker in the hospital, enabling the employee to achieve a balance among work, family and social life. The program stresses the need to provide the necessary Psychological and moral care for all health workers, providing them with an intellectual, physical, and emotional balance, in addition to emphasizing alignment between functional institutional goals and personal aspirations.
