Salalah: The operational work of the entertainment project at “Al Naseem Water Park” in Salalah began on Monday, 31 July 2023 as one of the new projects that will contribute to strengthening the tourism and entertainment sector in the Dhofar Governorate, coinciding with the Khareef Dhofar season 2023.
His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, accompanied by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Mohsen Al Ghassani , Chairman of Dhofar Municipality and a number of officials, made a field tour around the park to view its facilities and components. Located in the Sahel Attin area in Salalah, the park is spread over an area of 40,000 square metres.
Dr Musab al Hinai, CEO of Al Naseem Group, of Companies, said that the implementation of the project comes within the framework of the group’s interest in contributing to the tourism development in the Dhofar Governorate, pointing to the importance of the Salalah Water Park in enhancing revenues and creating job opportunities for Omanis.
The project consists of three phases, the first is the integrated water park with all its facilities, while the second phase is the establishment of a miniature zoo, while the third phase will witness the establishment of a park for recreational games, as the project targets different age groups. It is worth noting that the project offers visitors a range of different activities and events, and is managed by Al Naseem Group of Companies, which specialises in managing and operating parks, gardens and their various facilities.
