    Muscat: Royal Oman police (ROP) issues Conditions for Allowing Foreign Visitors to Use Driving Licenses in the Sultanate of Oman.

    In a statement ROP said: Foreign visitors holding valid driving licenses issued in their home countries are permitted to drive in the Sultanate of Oman under the following conditions:

    The visit must be for tourism or transit purposes only.

    The validity of the international or foreign driving license must not exceed three months from the date of entry into the Sultanate of Oman.

    International driving licenses are issued by Omani vehicle associations.
