Anniversary of Al Isra’a Wal Miraj celebrated in Wilaya of Sohar

Sohar: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, celebrated this evening on the occasion of the Isra and Mi’raj anniversary of the year 1445 AH, under the patronage of His Excellency Mohammed bin Suleiman Al Kindi, Governor of North Al Batinah, in the presence of a number of Their Excellencies the governors and members of the State Council, the Shura Council, and a group of citizens.

The ceremony, which was held on the grand stage of the Sohar Entertainment Center in the state of Sohar, embodied the high values ​​and great positions inspired by the Isra and Mi’raj incident, may the best prayers and peace be upon its owner, with the aim of instilling the faith and historical value of this great occasion in the hearts of Muslims and reminding the Islamic world of it so that members of society can benefit from it in their reality and future. The celebration’s segments witnessed a wide diversity and richness of knowledge, embodied in the chanting and acting paintings, which bore the title “The Land of the Night Journey”, in addition to the poetic poems expressing this religious occasion.

The ceremony also witnessed the reciting of expressive, descriptive and explanatory poems to commemorate the Isra and Mi’raj, the first of which was an eloquent poem titled “The Ascension Nation” by the poet Yousef bin Abdul Qadir Al Kamali, and a Nabatean poem entitled “Shamukh” by the poet Amer bin Salem Al Hosani. In addition to three songs with the titles (O Holy One, O Favor to Her, and O Messenger of Allah), which were performed by a number of singers, who expressed in their voices the manifestations of the universal values ​​and morals that abound on this fragrant occasion.
